01 Website analytics

Your choices and
site data.

This page explains the optional analytics used on the JS CloudData website.

What analytics records

Information used to
understand visits.

If you allow analytics, the website sends device type, browser, operating system, language, time zone, screen dimensions, visited page, and referrer information to its analytics service. The server also sends your IP address to ipapi.co to estimate your city, region, country, network organization (ASN), and approximate coordinates. IP-based locations are not GPS and may be inaccurate.

Separately, you may choose to share your device location for the current browser session. Your browser will ask for permission. If you grant it, the site records the coordinates and the accuracy reported by your device with the visit. Your device may use GPS, Wi-Fi, or other location signals; the site does not control which source is used. You can continue using the site analytics without sharing device location.

The server stores visit records, including the IP address, for dashboard reporting. Full IP addresses are visible to authenticated administrators by default; device coordinates are only included when you separately opt in and grant browser permission. The administrator can configure the dashboard to display masked IP addresses instead.

Your choice

Choose “Allow analytics” or “Decline” in the consent notice. The choice is saved in your browser’s local storage. If you allow, visit data is sent when you browse the site. If you decline, the site does not send the optional visit analytics.
